DemiCon XII Consuite

"Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler"

Mardi Gras is arriving over two months later and 1,200 miles north! Come to the consuite and celebrate the beginning of Lent - hey, it never hurts to get a ten-month head start on the partying. Hurricanes will be mixed at the bar and King's cake and jambalaya will be served. Want beads? Then show us your . . . Demicon badge. (betcha thought we were gonna say something naughty, didn't ya?) There will be prizes for the best costumes, and best mask (made by you, not purchased - though if you enter one in the art show, it will be considered). There will also be a scavenger hunt. Rumor has it that Hakosot will be played at 1:00 AM and 1:00 PM although, unfortunately, Moshi can't join us.

We are looking forward to seeing you in our garden of gastronomic delights! Thanks to a lot of hard work from unnamed people (thank you, Candy!) and our generous sponsors -- who, in the past, have included such stellar establishments as Monterrey, Saint's Brewing Co., Damon's, and the Outback Steakhouse -- we plan to have some very nice occasional treats in addition to the standard consuite fare.

So, whether you're hunting for a quick snack before staggering off to bed at six in the morning, grabbing a bagel and a cup of strong coffee before going to our excellent programming, or looking for the most scintillating conversation on this side of the really big Taco Bell (tm) beyond, the DemiCon consuite is the place.

Questions or inquiries regarding this year's consuite should be directed to Ann Totusek at info@dmsfs.org.
